NAINITAL
Nainital is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s
Uttarakhand state, at an elevation of roughly 2,000m. Formerly a British hill station, it’s set around
Nainital Lake, a popular boating site with Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north shore. A cable car runs
to Snow View observation point (at 2,270m), with vistas over the town and mountains including Nanda
Devi, Uttarakhand’s highest peak.
KEDARNATH
Kedarnath is a town in Rudraprayag district in the state of Uttarakhand in India and has
gained importance because of the Kedarnath Temple. It is approximately 86 kilometres from Rudraprayag,
the district headquarter. It is a Nagar panchayat in the Rudraprayag district. A serene place that is
closely associated with the mighty Pandavas, upholds a beautiful legend of its own.
CHAR DHAM
The Char Dham is a set of four
pilgrimage sites in India. It is believed that visiting these sites helps achieve moksha. The four Dhams
are, Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri and Rameswaram. The journey can be completed by road.
The Char Dham Yatra is as divine as it is arduous but fulfills the soul!. The high-altitude shrines
remain shut for around six months every year,
