Posted on January 15, 2020May 17, 2021 By Saksham Pandey No Comments on Five points to keep in mind while designing a great logo

Logo is a part of a brand’s identity. With a combination of text and imagery, a logo tells people not only the name of a brand but also creates a visual symbol that represents the vision of the company. Hence, it’s very important that the logo you design should be simple but classic, memorable, differentiates the brand from the rest, and fosters brand’s loyalty.

To help you design a great logo, we have crafted out five qualities of effective logo design, with tips for putting these points into practice. Check them out below:

1. Logo should be simple

Yes, simplicity is the key here. A simple logo is easy to remember and looks neat and clean. Keep in mind that you should never over complicate a logo design. Recall all logos that you remember and you will find that all those logos look very simple and have strong brand recall.

2. It should be scalable

Logos are used at different locations and settings such as – website, hoarding, billboard, TV commercials, print ads, magazines, emailers etc. Hence, keep your logo design adjustable for various sizes or mediums. Your logo should be simple enough to look good in any size and medium.

3. Must be memorable and impactful

The logo you design should be memorable and should leave an unforgettable impression. If you want to capture the attention of the audience then your logo should be impactful.

4. Versatile is important

The colours, design and pattern of your logo should be versatile to look good on any platform, be it, web device or any kind of print material.

5. It should be relevant to the brand

The logo should be relevant to the products/services, values and beliefs of the brand. The logo should communicate to the audience the work you do and how you value them.
